A staple in the coffee community for over five years, Frank is one of those first loves that always has you coming back for more.The design, vibe, and live music will have you wanting to grab a seat and hang out with your ‘dog, but if you must, you can still take your breakfast tacos and cold brew to go.
Frank is where coffee culture got started in Austin, with designers Christian Helms and Geoff Peveto creating a space that made locals and visitors experience love at first sight (and sip). Each month there’s a new mural painted by local artists, just one of the things that makes it obvious that Frank is connected and relevant to the community.
As you can guess, pretty much everything else is hot dogs: from the “Notorious P.I.G.” to the “Beer Soaked Brat,” this is the place to consume the ultimate artisan sausage wrapped in any topping you can imagine. Fear not, Veggies: you can sub in a vegan dog at no charge. Happy Hour is Monday to Friday from 4-6pm, where it’s buy one coffee, get the second for $1. It’s extended until 10pm on the first day of the week, so grab a friend and make it a Monday Funday.
Technically speaking, drip coffee is served pour-over style on the Hario V60 with a paper filter, cold brew is made with the Toddy cold brew method, and espresso drinks are crafted with a La Marzocco GB5 equipped with precision-engineered VST baskets.
