Home of Cafe Bedouins

Story by Latte Up July 10th, 2016

The cafe is centered around their gorgeous wood-grain La Marzocco espresso machine and acts as a metaphor for Houndstooth: everything is all about the coffee. Yes, you’ll find amazing coffee, but you won’t find the space to stretch and hang out on their wifi all day. Instead, you’ll want to come with plenty of time, a sophisticated palette, and a friend to sit down and discuss the finer things in life with. Every day offers two espresso selections alongside coffee from the best micro-roasters across the country. This is also one of the few locations you can find Tweed Coffee, which is the new roasting arm of Houndstooth made in Dallas.

Houndstooth is where the real aficionados flock to, with the best (and most serious) baristas in the city handcrafting beverages to perfection, no matter how long it takes. Seriously, these guys know their stuff and compete nationally. Houndstooth can teach you anything you want to know about coffee, and they host regular cuppings on Mondays and Thursdays at 1:30pm for the coffee n00b and nerd alike. The baristas are incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and helpful, so don’t be afraid to ask a question (or three!). If coffee just isn’t your thing, don’t worry — they serve beer too.
